May15 - Producer Hired


June July August- Summer, Secure rights, plan contracts for staff. Plan staff hiring, DO research on history of project. Make contacts with furture advertisers and possible people to assist you.


September- prepare for school. get staff hiring ad in Gaieties, New Stu, Real World. Other places. Solicit for staff


October- Make sure that you have already hired your Assistant producers or hire them now.

Assistant producers are very very important. DELEGATE     DELEGATE     DELEGATE!!!   Make sure that someone familair with the univeristy and its processes is involved here.

Then you need to Hire and plan the hiring of your staff.
I chose to Hire a director first to allow he/she to be part of the process. The staff and director need to be able to work together so let the director help.

Try to not hire before Original Winter One Acts or at times when people are being burned out from Gaieties

November- Meet with Staff start designing the show.

Make sure that you set up e-mail lists: Type "help@lists.Stanford.EDU" and it will tell you how to do it

Make sure to look to secure space for rehearsals
